Just a reminder that the memorial service for Kent will be held at 1:00 PM tomorrow (Friday, May 6th) at the St. James Chapel in Leesburg, Florida.

Kent Sterling Walker

Kent Sterling Walker, 25, of Leesburg, FL passed away peacefully the morning of April 28^th, 2011 after a valiant life long battle with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy.

Kent was a proud student and graduate of Lake Hills School in Eustis, FL. He was active in the Special Olympics, placing first in his division for bowling.

His interests included Nascar, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, and Carrie Underwood. Never one to complain about his condition, he always greeted everyone with a smile. He inspired many with his courage, spirit, and sense of humor.

He is survived by his parents, Brad and Marion Walker; sister, Sarah Walker; paternal grandmother, Suzanne Walker; as well as several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lester and Elizabeth Hudson and paternal grandfather, Millard Walker.

Memorial Service: 1:00 PM Friday, May 6^th at St. James Chapel in Leesburg.

The Kent Walker Foundation - Welcome!

Recently, a close family from central Florida lost their son to a life long fight with Muscular Dystrophy. Despite being diagnosed at birth, neither the son nor the family gave up fighting. His family dedicated their entire lives to his care and now they are in need of some help of their own. Please consider contributing any amount as even small donations will make a big difference to this family's life. During this difficult period, money should be the last thing on their mind. Even in these trying times, let's show them a small portion of the love they've been giving for so long.
